My Hannah’s Beach Resort Experience: Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte

Hannah's Beach Resort

Our Ilocos tour wasn't complete without us including Pagupud on our bucket list, a popular destination because of it's beaches. I will be sharing with all of you what Hannah's Beach Resort can offer, our home for a day and give rate to their amenities/services. πŸ™‚

Barangay Balaoi, Malingay, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte is home to Hannah's Beach Resort and Convention Center. A seven hectare luxurious beach hotel and resort with turquoise water and white powdery sand. It is a paradise for those who loves surfing or even those who love just chilling by the beach.

Pagudpud Hannah's Beach Resort EntranceOur trip was spontaneous. We traveled north during the holy week and as expected, almost all accommodation options were full. Luckily, Surfville still has available tents to accommodate us. Yes, tents! We were willing to stay at the tents rather than sleeping at the car as we also have kids with us.

But mind you, the tents were no ordinary! It's huge which can accommodate 8-10 persons, complete with bedings and lamp. There are common comfort rooms and they offer free ride to the main resort. Oh, by the way, Surfville is an annex of Hannah's Beach Resort! Thus, we can use and enjoy the first class amenities of this luxury resort! Budget friendly accommodation at only Php 800.00 for a night plus the luxury amenities! Ain't it a great deal? πŸ˜€ I love sleeping at the tents specially the surrounding was full of trees. I'd give it a thumbs up for the tent location and value of money.

Moving on, here are the thingsΒ  we did at Hannah's Beach Resort which you can enjoy too!

1. SWIMMING/SURFING

Of course, Pagudpud boasts for it's turquoise and white sand beaches, this did not fail me! Below is a photo taken by the beach which was very inviting for swimming and snorkeling.

Surfing also is another must try activity. Beginners will definitely enjoy this as the waves are not huge as those from Baler. There are surfing board rentals which you could check out if you don't have one.

However, if you prefer pools, the resort has five (5) swimming pools: one for kids, two for adults, an infinity pool and another shaped exactly like a humongous kitchen clay pot or β€œbanga”. Curious about the clay pot pool? Well, I was too! Hahahahah!Hannah's Beach Resort PoolsBelow is the gigantic clay pot shaped swimming pool! Very unique that I haven't found any similar idea yet as of this moment except here at Hannah's Beach Resort. Our group was supposed to take a dip in this giant pot, however, it was designed for kids and it was crowded. So, we just went on and explore the resort further.Hannah's Beach Resort - Clay pot poolSurfville, the annex resort, which we stayed has a swimming pool and a jacuzzi by the way. πŸ™‚

2. ZIPLINE

One of the main attraction at Hannah’s Beach Resort is their 1.2 km zipline that is according to their webpage is reportedly the longest over the water in the whole world.

The zipline offers the best natural beauty of Pagudpud beach and Hannah's Beach Resort from different angles. The blue skies, and the mountain view of the resort itself is also a background you can only see beautifully when riding the zipline.

If you are adventurous person who seeks adrenaline rush plus who has strong will, then you have to try this! It will be worth your while and I'm betting it will be one of the best time of your lives. I'm afraid of height so I just sat this one out. Maybe when I get back, I'll try it, I hope. lol.

3. HANGING BRIDGE

The resort not only offers activity for persons who loves beach, water and extreme activities. There are also other things you can do such as crossing this long hanging bridge over a forest. Its quiet challenging and scary at first, as the bridge sways when people moves or walks on it.

Of course, my boyfriend does the thing he is good at. That is making fun of me while on the bridge, well, sorry that I am afraid of heights. Hahahah! It was a good thing though I tried since I really want to conquer my fear. And I did conquered and had fun crossing the hanging bridge! The breath taking overview of the whole resort can be seen at this location.

Don't worry guys, this one's very safe, see? We even have a child with us. πŸ™‚Hannah's Beach Resort - Hanging Bridge Β

4. STROLLING and TAKING PICTURES

For me the best thing about this resort is it captures the heart of all generations. Adult, teens and kids have activities to do! I have fun strolling and taking pictures with the famous figures available here at Hannah's Beach Resort.Β

Below are few of the pictures we took which might encourage you to also take a snap with your family when you visit.

Here's a photo with the life size figures of our all time favorite game Clash of Clans. πŸ™‚ I wish we could take them home. Lol!

Pagudpud Hannah's Beach ResortDid you guys enjoy the tour? I bet you did, so come on now and schedule your trip to Pagudpud.

This resort is awesome and I'm giving them 4 over 5 rating for their amenities. I left one because their common comfort rooms are not very clean, well maybe because it was peak season and there are lots of people who checked in. This trip reminded me of Campuestuhan Highland Resort which I have visited at Bacalod last 2016.Β

I hope I could get a room someday in their main resort so that I could rate their service better and let you know if it is a thumbs up. Anyway, that's it for now, if you happen to like this blog, please do share so that your friends can visit too.
